1(c) - Child protection workers going into children's school survey

In recent years, a number of school boards have been allowing child protection workers to enter schools and to secretly interrogate children without the knowledge of parents and without the informed consent of the parents or children. Some school boards are allowing child protection workers to be stationed in schools to spy on children while at school. Many lawyers and civil rights activists maintain the position that this practice is highly illegal and a violation of the basic rights of the children and their parents.

This survey is to gather reliable statistics from parents whose children are currently being affected or have been affected by child protection workers becoming involved with their children or with school officials at their children's schools. The statistics gathered from this survey form will help to determine whether harm is being done to children and parents and what should be done to resolve this pressing issue. This survey is for parents only. A separate survey will be for children affected.
